International Services for Certification Bodies (ISCB) provides accreditation pathways for laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies, proficiency-testing providers and biobanks against the standards listed in our programme requirements centre.
How our work is organised
Applications are reviewed against the requested scope and applicable accreditation requirements. Competent assessors examine objective evidence; findings are reviewed; and accreditation decisions are made through the defined ISCB process. Payment of fees does not guarantee accreditation.
Accountability and technical competence
ISCB assigns assessment personnel according to the programme and technical scope. Published assessor records identify authorised expertise where available. Impartiality, confidentiality, complaints and funding information are published so applicants can understand the safeguards around our work.
Recognition and suitability
Applicants should confirm that an accreditation arrangement is suitable for the customers, regulators, tenders and markets that will rely on it. ISCB discusses the intended use and requested scope before assessment and avoids claims that are not supported by current documented arrangements.
Contact and records
ISCB operates from Office 140, 254 Chapman Rd, Suite 101-B, Newark, Delaware 19702, USA. Programme requirements, fees, policies, accredited-body records and application routes are available on this website. Questions can be submitted through the contact page for a recorded response.
